Best Teeth Whitening Products: Reviewed & Rated

Teeth Whitening Review

Hi, I'm Kate. Everyone knows that you need to be very careful before

using any sort of teeth whitening products.

That's why we've created this special page within the site to advise on how to get beautiful white teeth without needing to spend a lot of money on professional dentist whitening.

There are many different options available but not all do a good job and some can even make your teeth look worse.

However, the two listed are both exceptional quality and more importantly were produced by leading experts in the  field.

Our Number 1 Choice Idol White
Our Rating:

Idol White was the most impressive product we saw and this simple but effective whitening pen does a great job of giving you sparkling teeth without the hassle normally associated with other products. No awkward trays or bleaching kits you simply apply the gel twice daily and as we speak they have a free trial offer on.

The question is - does it work? Well, it actually works extremely well and has even been endorsed by the Kardashian sisters. They recently became spokespeople for the product due to the fact that it is so easy to use, very quick and gets great results.

So how does it work? Well the process is very simple and this is part of why it is becoming so popular. It is a 3 step process starting with you brushing your teeth. Next you twist the pen to dispense the gel, and finally apply it to your teeth.

This is far simpler than messing around with trays and bleaching kits and is refreshingly simple for such an accomplished product. I don't think it's possible to make any mistakes with Idol White at all, it's so simple.

So, Idol White takes the crown for our number 1 teeth whitening product. Of course if you have the funds you may prefer to get your teeth whitened professionally by a specialist, but this can run into the thousands and be quite time consuming. In terms of whitening from home I have yet to see a better option and highly recommend you try it out.

Our Number 2 Choice Alta White
Our Rating:

Alta White is our second choice and works in a slightly different way to Idol White. It comes with swabs and whitening powder and you dip the swab into the powder before applying it to your teeth. This is again very easy to use and sees a trend of moving away from trays and overly complicated bleaching kits.

The product has seen some fantastic results and you can see some of them by clicking the link below. The patented dental whitening system can actaully remove coffee, tea and other difficult stains after the first use. I would not advise you get your hopes up though...it will usually take more uses than that for results to be noticeable.

The way the product works is that the powder that you apply to your teeth releases free oxygen to oxidize and lift organic stains away from the teeth. The system works very well and there are definitely improvements in the shade of your teeth. The results will vary though on how stained your teeth are before you use Alta White.

In all honesty, both these products are excellent and both will undoubtedly save you a substantial amount of money in dentist's fees if you were to get them professionally whitened. In fact, the only reason why we've scored 'Alta White' marginally lower than 'Idol White' is because we thought Idol White was a little easier to use overall. They both have a risk free trial offer right now where you just pay a small shipping & handling fee so I highly recommend you take them up on the offer and try them out...there's really nothing to lose.

There are two methods to getting whiter teeth. Firstly you can purchase a product for use at home. This could be a whitening toothpaste or a whitening kit such as crest teeth whitening or rembrandt teeth whitening. The other option is to see a dentist who will professionally clean and whiten your teeth.

The best whitening toothpaste should do a good job of improving the color of your teeth and you will likely be able to tell the difference after consistent use. A bleach kit can be relatively cheap and effective but can often be a little tricky to use. You often have to create moulds of your teeth which can be problematic the first few times you try. The benefit is definitely the prices which can be extremely reasonable for the quality of the job.

You may like to try this offer which will allow you to take a free trial and does not require using the moulds. So you pay nothing and it is really simple to use. At the time of writing this was the best offer I could find so check it out here. If you decide to go with dentist whitening you will find that, assuming you use a quality dentist, the job is very well done and professional.

The process is fairly quick and should leave you with white teeth for a good period, and this will be even longer if you avoid food and drinks such as coffee that will stain your teeth over time. The downside to this method is teeth whitening prices which can prove quite expensive to have done by a professional. You will need to put in the investment to have this work done but if you have the money this can be a great method.

If you are still unsure after this teeth whitening review then another factor to consider is the convenience factor. If you pay for a dentist to professionally whiten your teeth this will usually be done in one sitting and you will see immediate results. If you use a home whitening kit then you will have to use multiple applications for the same results. If you do not mind waiting to see the final results then you may choose to follow this path.

Another consideration is teeth sensitivity. Many people report that they have sensitive teeth for a while after a professional whitening session. This is nothing to be worried about but can leave your teeth sensitive for a while when eating certain foods. With a home whitening kit the sensitivity is usually very minimal or not even noticed as the doses are much less and as you are gradually whitening the teeth over time, less likely to feel the effects.

If you are not sure which method to opt for I would recommend taking a look at the offers at the top of the page for some guidance. Both can help you a great deal and are very reasonably priced.

Everyone understands the power of a great smile. A bright and dazzling set of beautiful white teeth can make a great impression whereas stained and yellow teeth can put people off the moment they see them. Having stains on your teeth can really damage self confidence and make anyone feel self conscious but it need not be that way.

In the past if you had problematic teeth you would have to spend a lot of money to have them fixed by a dentist. Any complicated procedures are still fairly difficult and costly but whitening teeth has been revolutionised. There are now a great number of products available for very low prices that can do the job from the comfort of your own home. Paying a professional a lot of money is still an option but in reality it would be almost impossible to tell the difference with a quality home kit.

Making a decision over how you get your teeth whitened is up to you but you should have the right information before making the choice. Below are the main options available and suggestions for what may work best for you.

Toothpastes – These are very low cost and easy to use. They are simply toothpastes with added ingredients to clean away stains. They do not actually affect the color of the teeth but clear away any discolouration. In reality most do very little though and you will probably not really notice any difference at all in my experience.

Strips – These are strips which you place over your top and bottom teeth and leave on fro a certain amount of time. They contain a bleaching gel which helps to leave a bright smile after a period of using them. These can be very effective but are a little awkward to apply and leave on for the right amount of time.

Trays – A mould is made of your teeth and a gel is placed inside. You then leave the trays in for a set period of time. Again these can be very effective with the only downside being the awkwardness of moulding the tray and keeping it in position. Some dentists will actually make the mould for you so it fits in place correctly.

Gel kits – These are generally my preferred method as they are so simple to use. An applicator is used to apply the gel directly onto your teeth and it gradually improves the shade of white. The effectiveness is similar to trays and strips but you can apply it directly instead of worrying about keeping them in place.

These are the main options available for home whitening. If you feel uncomfortable about your teeth then whitening them is fairly easy these days. Make sure you pick a quality product and follow the instructions carefully and you will almost certainly see some great results.
